Chancellor's Distinguished Speaker Series - Fayetteville State University

Renowned painter and collector of art, Dr. David C. Driskell will be the final speaker in the Chancellor's Distinguished Speaker Series. Elected as a National Academician by the National Academy, Dr. Driskall serves as cultural advisor to Dr. & Mrs. William H. "Bill" Cosby & as the curator of the Cosby Collection of Fine Arts. He also curated the groundbreaking exhibit "Two Centuries of Black American Art:1750-1950" which laid the foundation for the field of African American Art History.
