News & Observer food critic Greg Cox says: Entering Metro 8's romantic, Spanish-accented dining room is like stepping into a restaurant in Buenos Aires, and the menu ñ steakhouse fare with an Argentinean flair ñ keeps the mood alive. Start with empanadas or grilled chorizo, and follow with any of the steaks or chops, a selection ranging from churrasco-style skirt steak to filet mignon au poivre. If you're not a beefeater, herb-crusted tuna is a winning alternative. Save room for homemade desserts such as molten chocolate soufflé, dulce de leche crêpes and passion fruit mousse layered cake. Dinner nightly.
